longtemps, je vous ai rendu visite lors des AG comme la tradition Lions l?exige.
Il y a
longtemps, vous m?avez coopté en vous disant : il sera un bon maillon.
Il y a
longtemps vous m?avez intronisé et par cette voie, je suis devenu membre du Club
Douala Barracuda et par effet d?entraînement de l?Association Lions Clubs
International.
Il y a
longtemps vous m?avez formé pour faire rayonner en moi le don de SERVIR.
J?ai
adhéré en homme libre à la pensée de notre illustre fondateur Melvin Jones qui
dit, je cite : « Il me semble que l?on ne va pas bien loin si l?on ne fait pas
quelque chose pour quelqu?un d?autre » fin de citation.
Vous
m?avez appris à être fidèle à notre devise « NOUS SERVONS » et à vivre
intensément la vocation internationale du Lionisme.
Hier, vous
m?avez désigné Président Elect par l?usage de la Sagesse, par la Force de la
persuasion.
Aujourd?hui, permettez-moi d?accepter l??uvre à bâtir pour y ajouter la Beauté
par mon travail.
